Return of Kiremko Nacht van Woerden

I started my cross season with my favorite race of the year - Kiremko Nacht van Woerden!

This race is so special, and this year did not disappoint. Despite the threatening rain the night racing, the kermis, and the atmosphere made the whole night gezellig! Fem van Empel showed she’s still a force to reckon with, and the exciting battle between Pim Ronhaar and Felipe Orts ended with the Spaniard’s victory. For me, I was back at the race photographing for Baloise Glowi Lions, and with Lars van der Haar just announcing his retirement at the end of the season, it made this year exceptional for me.
